A good website should meet your business development and customer needs.
We are here for you, whether you require a new web site, redesign an existing one, performing routine maintenance or adding new features.
Careful planning at the outset of a site design is time well spent. Making changes to the overall site once work has started will almost certainly delay development time considerably more then you may think.
It is important to us that we understand what your goals for your website are and ideas of how the website should look. You need it to be an extension of your marketing and sales tools attracting new business. You may also want it to be a source of current information for existing customers. If you will be selling products directly from your website then you should consider the best way to display your products and how you’re ordering process will be conducted.
Once the information gathering has been finished and we’ve agreed on the parameters of the website we can move onto the design phase.
The first step is for us to develop a series of design mock-ups. You will be supplied with multiple mock-ups, each with distinct looks and navigation styles derived from the information gathered in the discovery phase. At this point we will encourage you to choose one of the designs, provide us with feedback, adding any changes that will be required. The process of reworking the mock-ups will begin with incorporating your feedback into the design, once all reviews and initial design issues have been addressed we move on to the development phase.
With research and design aspects now finalised, the process of developing, testing and launching your website gets underway.
At this stage we build the interfaces and any backend functionality, creating the navigation and placing the content as per the specification documents. Roll out to testing environment on section by section bases.
The whole project will now be located in the staging area, where it under goes in depth testing. You will now have direct access to the whole of the product to conduct your own testing and evaluation; at this point we encourage you to provide feedback so that we can polish, debug and finalize the project.
Your website is placed onto the live server. All functions of the site are tested once again to ensure that no unforeseen issues arise from the transfer to a live environment. Full submission to the search engines is now implemented.
Full project specification and search engine submission documentation are now handed over.
We are available to answer your questions and offer assistance or advice with any concerns or initiatives that you have in mind.
